Simon is a clinician-researcher. He works as a chiropractor in a Central Coast clinic, and as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health at The University of Sydney. His research focus is on the management of back pain by emergency health services with a key interest in in the emerging field of paramedicine/prehospital care. He has developed collaborations with Australian health services; NSW and SA Ambulance services, RPA Virtual Hospital and the Urgent Care Network. His research has explored the management of back pain by ambulance services, including clinical practice guidelines, care delivered to patients, and referral pathways.
